About RSS

RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, is a technology used to create content feeds.

Web sites and blogs provide feeds so you can subscribe to their content and receive updates automatically.

To use RSS feeds you will need a reader. A reader checks the feeds you are subscribed to and displays any new content. This means you don't have to check individual web sites and blogs for updates – the reader does it for you.

To subscribe to a feed, you need to add it to your reader. For example, we've supplied our news as a content feed. To subscribe, you can drag the RSS icon ontot your reader or click on the RSS button and cut and paste the feed URL into your reader – simply follow the instructions in your reader.

Whenever you want to see if your subscriptions have been updated, just open up your reader.
